For the past five years, Julia has successfully managed her own career coaching business, assisting hundreds of clients in gaining clarity around their career paths. Known for her supportive yet straightforward approach, she helps professionals achieve their career goals through strategies aligned with their personalities, values, and circumstances.

Her career journey began in higher education, where she spent eight years in various roles within university career offices. During this time, she helped a diverse group of individuals, including freshmen, MBA candidates, doctoral students, and alumni, to navigate their career paths.

Julia’s extensive experience in higher education connected her with recruiters and hiring managers across numerous industries, who were seeking talent at all levels. This exposure provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the hiring process and the specific nuances involved in recruiting for different industries and roles.

In addition to her career coaching, Julia is an accomplished educator. She has developed and taught courses at Azusa Pacific University and the University of Southern California (USC). Her LinkedIn Learning course, “Taking Ownership in Your Career,” covers various aspects of career development, including career management, exploration, advancement, and the job search process.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science in College Counseling and Student Development from Azusa Pacific University.
